This project represents a continuation of Tommi Toija’s recent works presented at ARR Gallery at the Beijing Dangdai Art Fair. During his one-month residency in Hangzhou, Tommi Toija created a new 3.5-metre-high sculpture: Lunatic, a quiet observer who gazes at us and at the world, reminding us that brokenness is part of our wholeness.

The exhibition also features a series of Tommi’s new drawings, which reveal a wide spectrum of emotions and further expand the narrative explored in his sculptural work.
